Alliances

Alliances are the backbone of Nova Rift. Pool resources, research shared bonuses, coordinate rally attacks, and control territory together.

Creation & Roles

Build an Alliance Embassy (CC 8) to create or join an alliance. Alliances start with a base member limit that can be expanded through Alliance Research. Each alliance has a tag, name, and description visible on the galaxy map.

Leader

All permissions. Can disband alliance, promote/demote members, manage research and warehouse.

Officer

Can invite/kick members, start rally attacks, manage warehouse deposits/withdrawals.

Member

Can participate in rallies, deposit to warehouse, chat in alliance channel, join alliance events.

Alliance Research10 types, max level 5 each

Alliance research provides passive bonuses to all members. Funded from the alliance warehouse. Research times scale from 1 hour (level 1) to 24 hours (level 5). Only one research can be active at a time.

Alliance Warehouse

Deposits

Any member can deposit Food, Steel, Energy, Astromite, and Quantarite into the warehouse. Industrial doctrine players with Orbital Warehouse buildings serve as alliance deposit points with expanded capacity.

Withdrawals

Officers and Leaders can withdraw resources for alliance research or distribute to members. Warehouse resources fund alliance research upgrades directly.

Rally Attacks

Rally attacks are coordinated multi-player assaults. A rally leader initiates the rally, setting a target and a preparation timer. Alliance members join the rally by committing their fleets during the prep phase.

Initiation

An Officer or Leader starts a rally from the Alliance Embassy. Requires Fleet Commander certification for bonus slots.

Preparation

Members have a time window to join. Each participant adds their fleet to the combined force. Fleet Commander cert grants +2 rally slots per level.

Launch

When the timer expires, all committed fleets march together as one combined army. Fleet speed = slowest unit across all participants.

Combat

The combined rally force fights as a single army. All electronic warfare modules from all participants apply. Massive battles possible.

Doctrine Synergy

The Doctrine Synergy alliance research amplifies cross-doctrine cooperation. At max level (+15%), the benefits of having diverse doctrine members in your alliance are significantly enhanced.
